We are a locally owned, independent pharmacy founded in 2010 by your hometown pharmacist, Justin Austin. We take pride in knowing you by name and in providing personal attention to you and your family to address unique health needs.

We strive to exceed your expectations and to save you time and money. We are committed to being there when you need us most, by providing a level of service that goes above and beyond the ordinary. We treat you like family, because we are family.

Justin Austin, PharmD

Justin graduated with a doctorate’s degree in 2006 from the University of North Carolina, Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

He began his pharmacy career as a technician with People’s Drug in Taylorsville at the age of 17, where he worked during high school and in summer during college

After college, Justin continued his career with People’s Drug as a pharmacist while working part-time on the weekends at Granite Drug. His passion for serving the public through independent community pharmacy led him to open Long View Drug in 2010.

Xaiver Brittain

Xaiver is a student at Alexander Early College where you will graduate from high school and college with a two year associate's degree in 2022.

Xaiver is Justin's little brother and joined Long View Drug in 2019. He enjoys working with our patients and learning about medications.

Kimberly Spencer, CPhT

Kimberly graduated in 2002 from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a bachelor's of science degree in Computer Science.

She joined Long View Drug in 2011 and is not only a dedicated member of our team but she's also Justin's sister-in-law. Kim takes pride in getting to know our patients and providing individual service.
